LED BULBS

LED bulbs have numerous advantages over incandescent bulbs: they consume up to 80% less energy, their lifespan is much longer (up to 50,000 hours), they do not heat up, they turn on instantly and they are more environmentally friendly (they do not contain lead or mercury)

Bushing Type

We have 9 different types of bushings. It is very important that before buying a lamp you look for the type of socket you need so that the lamp can work properly.

Light consumption and intensity

Watts tell us how much power a bulb has, the higher the wattage, the higher the energy consumption. On the other hand, lumens are responsible for informing us of the intensity of the light. There is usually a relationship between the two and the higher the lumens, the higher the energy consumption, but it does not always have to be like this.

Color Temperature

The light tone of an LED bulb is a personal choice. It will depend a lot on the room where we want to use it or the environment we want to create. We can choose between warm, neutral and cool tones.

The tone of the light is indicated in kelvin (k) degrees. To achieve warm tones, bulbs of less than 3,000 k are needed, for cold light more than 4,000 k and to achieve neutral white light between 3,000 and 4,000 k.

Dimmable LED bulbs

Dimmable bulbs allow us, as their word suggests, to regulate the temperature of the light, its intensity and/or color.

LED bulbs as a decorative element

We have a wide catalog of decorative LED bulbs. Filament bulbs are perfect for those lamps that leave the bulb in the light. They also exist in different sizes and shapes. In addition, we have bulbs in different colors.

Frequently Asked Questions about LED Bulbs

How do you know if a bulb is LED?

LED bulbs are distinguished from classic incandescent or halogen bulbs by large differences, although physically they are very similar. To distinguish them, we recommend that you take into account the time it takes for the bulb to fully turn on. If it does so quickly, it is an LED bulb. In addition, physically there are already many styles of LED bulbs, such as filament bulbs, which are perfect for lamps that expose light. Therefore, to know physically if it is an LED bulb, many of them usually have a part of synthetic material on top of the socket that differentiates them from other bulbs.
